CREDI was selected to perform analysis of baseline and endline data for impact evaluation of project „Community Based Approach to Support Youth in Targeted Communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina“ (PVE) implemented by IOM BiH. IOM implemented a pilot project in 2015 with the overall objective to prevent the possible development of radicalization and violent extremism of youth by piloting new approaches in targeted communities to address local drivers and community-specific vulnerabilities to violent extremism.
The impact evaluation conducted by IOM BiH will examine the impact of the community level interventions on individuals’ resilience a sympathy towards radicalization and violent extremism, using an innovative index of radicalisation. The overall objective of the evaluation is to contribute to a strengthened evidence base for preventing violent extremism (PVE) programming based on strong monitoring and analysis of community-level interventions. The of CREDI is to support evaluation by contributing to design, testing and calculation of the Radicalisation Index, as well as to analyse survey data and produce evidence on the impact that IOM’s activities had on the value of Index.
