CREDI is proud to announce that the General Assembly of the OpenAIRE LE approved us as the regular member of this European research network. The acceptance of the membership is approved at the Second General Assembly meeting of the OpenAIRE AMKE, held at 16th September 2019 in Porto.
The mission of the OpenAIRE is to shift scholarly communication towards openness and transparency and facilitate innovative ways to communicate and monitor research. The network of 34 European National Open Access Desks (NOAD) are experts in open access and open science. They are embedded in national infrastructures and settings voicing the needs of the research community. These include universities, think-tanks and research institutes, but also self-standing institutions as CERN is.
CREDI is currently setting the NOAD for Bosnia and Herzegovina and establishing connections and communication with members of the OpenAIRE. With support from the OpenAIRE, CREDI will continue to promote data sharing, long-term archiving and reusing, especially within DASS-BiH activities and projects.
