CREDI was selected to conduct an analysis and projection of employers’ workforce, training and mentoring needs as part of the My Future project. The My Future project is implemented by Helvetas BiH and funded by the Swiss Development Cooperation. It was launched with the aim of establishing a systematic monitoring and analysis of employers’ needs for workforce, occupations, knowledge, skills and competences at the local level. Beneficiaries of the project are the municipalities of Citluk and Konjic, the cities of Siroki Brijeg and Trebinje, the Association of Entrepreneurs of Herzegovina, the Development Agency “Prvi korak” from Konjic and the Chamber of Commerce of the Zenica-Doboj Canton. The main objective of the project is to increase the harmonization of the labor market and the education system at the local level.
As part of the project assignment, implemented by CREDI, it is planned to develop a methodology, as well as training for collecting and analyzing data on employers’ needs for the abovementioned project beneficiaries. CREDI will conduct an analysis of the employers’ needs, knowledge, skills, attitudes and abilities for the needs of the cities of Siroki Brijeg, Trebinje, Citluk and Konjic, and will mentor the development of the same analysis for the needs of the Association of Entrepreneurs of Herzegovina, Development Agency “Prvi korak” / Association of Employers and Independent Entrepreneurs Konjic and the Chamber of Commerce of the Zenica-Doboj Canton.
The project will be implemented in several phases and the results of the analysis will be presented in the final report, which should be finalized in early April 2020.
