The InLearn Center of Excellence in Non-Formal Education is organizing a workshop on methods for assessing the impact of training programs and active employment , which will be held on April 28, 2021. years in the period 13:00 – 15:00. Due to the current epidemiological situation, the workshop will be held online, via the Zoom application.
Does a particular employment support program contribute to making it easier for program beneficiaries to find employment? Or are the results of program users due to the influence of factors other than the program itself? Has a particular training program influenced those who have undergone training to perform better in labor markets? Should we, based on the results of the impact assessment, continue such a program, or change it? The answers to these questions are not simple, and it is necessary to obtain objective indicators using internationally recognized methods of impact assessment. This workshop is designed to give participants an overview of key methods used in impact assessments of employment support programs, where through a brief explanation of the theoretical approach and a practical example of the impact assessment of different programs by CREDI Center it can serve to improve their design and effectiveness, thus ensuring more efficient spending of public funds. Also, we will describe ways to implement the impact assessment project itself, from planning and design, how to provide data, and ways to design future measures based on the results of the assessments.
The workshop will be led by dr. Nermin Oruč, with many years of experience in conducting program impact evaluations. In this workshop, you will learn how to independently use the results of various evaluations in order to improve the quality of the program you are implementing.
