The CREDI coordinator of the Data Archive for Social Sciences in Bosnia and Herzegovina (DASS-BiH), Amela Kurta, co-authored the D1 Report from the Mentorship Programme 2021-2022.
The CESSDA Mentorship Programme is one-to-one support where CESSDA partners and new member service providers requesting support are matched with experts active in the programme. DASS-BiH participated in mentorship support during 2021–2022, where its mentor was the Slovenian Data Archive ADP. During the mentorship support, several activities were organised, including two online sessions on the Dataverse-based Data Catalogue and an on-site visit of DASS-BiH staff to ADP. Meetings with representatives from the Slovenian Ministry of Education, Science, and Sport, the journal Javnost, the Public Opinion and Mass Communication Research Centre, and the Slovenian OpenAIRE on different topics related to open science practises were also organised.
The Report from the Mentorship Programme 2021–2022 summarises the mentees’ situation at the beginning of the mentorship and describes the mentees’ goals for the coming years, as well as the support requested from the mentors. Mentoring activities carried out during the period are addressed, as well as the mentees’ situation at the end of the mentorship and their plans for 2023. Finally, both mentees and mentors provide some reflections on the mentorship.
