Coordinator of the CREDI Data Archive for Social Sciences in Bosnia and Herzegovina (DASS-BiH), Amela Kurta, was selected to participate in the FairImpact challenge. DASS-BiH is selected as the only repository from the Western Balkan region participating in the project, together with 20 other repositories out of 51 applications. Each application was evaluated by three reviewers comprised of members of the FAIR Implementation Team and volunteers from across the FAIR-IMPACT pillar work packages and EOSC FAIR Champions.
The project aims to help us self-assess and work towards maximising the level of FAIRness of our resources. It envisages learning a variety of assessment tools and methods, including F-UJI, O’FAIRE, and FOOPS. FairImpact mentors will provide guidance and advice on how to interpret their scores and improve the overall FAIRness of resources. This challenge is part of our continued endeavour to improve services provided by DASS-BiH to its designated community, following the global standards for fair data providers.
