CREDI, in consortium with Universiteti i Shkodrës “Luigj Gurakuqi” from Albania and the Public Policy Research Centre – CENTER from Serbia, is selected by the Western Balkan Fund (WBF) to conduct the project titled “Western Balkans Initiative on Tackling Informal Employment on Online Platforms”.
The primary objective of this project is to facilitate scientific exchange and education among the three partner organisations. Recognising the imperative need for a comprehensive understanding of labour market informality in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia, the project aims to shed light on the similarities, differences, and impacts of these characteristics on the regulation of platform work, a domain primarily existing in the grey economy.
CREDI Director of Research, Nermin Oruč, participated on 13th March 2024 at the solemn ceremony organised at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will be Chairmanship-in-Office of the WBF in 2024. At the ceremony, certificates for projects were awarded, marking the start of implementation of all projects.
