We are pleased to announce that CREDI has been selected to conduct the follow-up research for a major regional project on gender equality within higher education in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, and Montenegro. This research is part of the University and Gender Mainstreaming (UNIGEM) project, the first initiative of its kind in the region, which brings together 19 universities to address key issues related to gender policies and equality.
In the second phase, CREDI’s research scope has expanded to include all 19 universities and will collect data from 3,000 participants across the region. These participants, encompassing students, academic staff, and non-academic staff, will provide valuable insights into current perspectives and practices related to gender equality in academia.
The results from the first phase, available here, laid a strong foundation, identifying critical trends and areas for development. With the broadened reach and objectives of this second phase, CREDI looks forward to further supporting efforts that enhance equitable opportunities and environments in higher education.
