The Centre for Development Evaluation and Social Science Research (CREDI) has officially adopted the COARA Action Plan 2025-2027, reinforcing its commitment to reforming research assessment practices. As a signatory of the Agreement on Reforming Research Assessment (ARRA), CREDI advocates for evaluating research beyond traditional metrics, recognizing diverse outputs and contributions that drive societal and academic impact. The plan is available here: https://zenodo.org/records/14335626
Developed through a participatory approach, the COARA Action Plan integrates key policies, including CREDI’s Open Access to Research Infrastructure Policy and Gender Equality Plan. It outlines strategies for implementing inclusive evaluation methods that align with ARRA and CoARA principles, emphasizing the recognition of varied research outputs and fostering an environment of continuous improvement and collaborative learning.
Through this initiative, CREDI aims to advance evidence-based policymaking in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Western Balkans region. By embracing innovative assessment practices, CREDI strengthens its mission to deliver impactful, high-quality research that addresses societal challenges and enhances the culture of collaboration and inclusivity in the research ecosystem.
