Our researcher, Amela Kurta, participated in the EIT Innovation Awards 2025, held on 25 November 2025 at the Budapest Congress Center. The annual event, organised by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, brings together Europe’s most promising innovators, practitioners, and research organisations to highlight cutting-edge solutions that advance Europe’s innovation ecosystem.
As one of the selected practitioners, Amela had the opportunity to pitch CREDI’s AgriSkill Tracker, an advanced labour market intelligence service that supports the modernisation of vocational education and training (VET) in the agri-food sector. Amela emphasised that AgriSkill Tracker was developed with the support of the Infrabooster program, which enabled CREDI to transform its research infrastructure into an innovation-oriented, market-ready service tailored to agri-food education providers in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She also highlighted the urgent need for reliable, sector-specific skills intelligence to address outdated curricula, weak employer engagement, and limited data availability within the region’s VET systems.
Participation in the EIT Innovation Awards 2025 marks an important step in showcasing CREDI’s innovations on the European stage and reaffirms our commitment to developing impactful, evidence-based services that strengthen labour markets, education systems, and the agri-food sector.
