The Methodological Guide on Counterfactual Evaluation of Youth Employment Policies has been translated into Bosnian by Nermin Oruč, our Director of Research. Originally developed under the Youth Employment PartnerSHIP project, funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway through the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment, the guide provides a detailed introduction to counterfactual evaluation methods for youth labour market policies. It focuses on the practical use of administrative data and illustrates key methodological steps and challenges through examples from Italy, Poland, Hungary, and Spain, offering a structured approach for researchers and institutional managers to assess the impact of youth employment programs.
The translation into Bosnian makes this internationally recognized methodological guide fully accessible to stakeholders in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It offers practical tools for understanding causal effects, analysing program efficiency, and linking evaluation results to program design and policy decisions. By bridging international expertise with local accessibility, the guide represents a valuable resource for researchers, policymakers, and institutions seeking to strengthen evidence-based practices and improve youth labour market outcomes.
