The CREDI, as a partner organisation in the implementation of the regional project “Establishment of a Platform for Dialogue and Transparency of State Aid Policy in the Western Balkan-6”, participated in a successful webinar dedicated to Montenegro’s experience in establishing a state aid register. The webinar was held on 15 April 2026.
The webinar brought together representatives of institutions from across the Western Balkans and focused on an important step towards enhancing transparency and strengthening the monitoring of state aid in the region.
The session featured Siniša Milačić, from the Agency for Protection of Competition of Montenegro, who delivered an insightful presentation covering:
- institutional setup
- data collection and publication practices
- implementation process
- key challenges and lessons learned.
The discussion provided valuable practical insights and encouraged an active exchange of experiences among participants from across the region.
CREDI contributed to the implementation of this event as part of the broader regional initiative led by the WEBEcon Network, with the support of the Open Society Foundations – Western Balkans. The project aims to strengthen institutional capacities, improve transparency, and foster regional cooperation in the field of state aid policy.
We would like to thank the speaker and all participants for their engagement and valuable contributions to the discussion.
