Our resaerchers Nina Brankovic and Nermin Oruc presented country report “Higher Education and Transition to the Labour Market in Bosnia and Herzegovina” at the premises of Delegation of EU to BiH on Wednesady, 29 June 2016. The country report is prepared within a regional project that covered six Western Balkans countries. The project was funded by the European Commission and implemented by LSEE, while the country report for BiH was prepared by CDESS fellows. The report for BiH analysed higher education provision and labour market opportunities in BiH by looking into four inter-related issues: the provision of HE, current labour market conditions for graduates, the challenges graduates face during the transition from HE to the labour market, and the type of skill mismatches and gaps that employers face when recruiting young graduates. The report concludes with a set of recommendations on measures needed to ease graduates’ transition to the labour market in BiH.
