[:en]Our director Dr Nermin Oruc was selected into the first cohort of Atlantic Fellows at the International Inequalities Institute, LSE. In a team led by Dr Will Bartlett from the LSEE, and with Dr Gordana Krstic and Dr Jelena Zarkovic Rakic from the University of Belgrade, Dr Oruc will stay at the LSE for three months in 2018 and work on the project called “Goodbye Tito: The role of Diverging Welfare State Trajectories on Income Inequality in Four Former Yugoslav Republics”. This project will investigate the relationship between income inequality and different welfare state trajectories in four countries of the former Yugoslavia over the three decades since the breakup of the country.
