CREDI is announcing the launch of a new regional initiative “Establishment of a Platform for Dialogue and Transparency of State Aid Policy in the Western Balkan-6”, supported by the Open Society Foundations – Western Balkans. The project aims to increase access to state aid data, strengthen regional integration, and support compliance of state aid policies with EU standards through greater transparency and stakeholder collaboration.
Building on the achievements of the previous phase, the project will focus on developing a comprehensive online platform that will serve as a regional hub for state aid data, analysis, and dialogue. It will also work on deepening stakeholder engagement by fostering consensus on the strategic directions of state aid policy and practice, while advocating for improved governance through a regularly updated database, targeted policy briefs, and public outreach.
This important regional effort is implemented by the WEBEcon Network and its member organizations: Finance Think (North Macedonia), Institute for Strategic Studies and Prognoses – ISSP (Montenegro), Center for Advanced Economic Studies – CEVES (Serbia), GAP Institute (Kosovo), Development Solutions Associates – DSA (Albania), and CREDI (Bosnia and Herzegovina). Through joint work, the initiative will provide greater visibility, accessibility, and comparability of state aid data, contributing to more effective policies and enhanced accountability in the use of public funds across the Western Balkans.
