As part of the regional InQuire Research Laboratory program, the third online session was held on February 7, 2024. The program is implemented with the support of the regional WB-MIGNET network, with participants from the Western Balkans and Turkey.
After the expressed interest of the participants in the program in the continuation of the first session on basic terms and terminology used in migration research, in the third session, Prof. Danica Šantić, Ph.D., spoke about major policies and trends in migration research and challenges in the availability of secondary data. Prof. Šantić has many years of experience in migration research, and as a professor at the Faculty of Geography at the University of Belgrade, he also has experience in teaching.
The participants had the opportunity to discuss with Prof. Šantić the topics of their research project proposal and to receive practical guidance in the implementation of specific phases of research, such as data collection in the field and ethical dilemmas in migration research.
